I’m Max, a 28 year old Dutch/Indo born graphic designer, music lover and self taught cook. Growing up in a creative family I naturally developed a love for design and it’s various mediums. I’m continuously driven to explore new avenues of creative expression, whether it’s through DJing, making electronic music or cooking.
I’m experienced in branding, social media content, album artworks, poster designs, typography and heaps more.
I’ve successfully built a name within the Australian music industry with over 5 years industry experience working as the sole designer at major electronic music label TMRW Music as well as having 6+ years freelance design under my belt.

About Me
Branding
FAME Capital
Fame Capital is an Australian based financial services business, with a global footprint, focused on providing institutional, professional and wholesale clients with custody, trading and investment management services for digital assets.
I was hired to help design their logo and branding deck which was then translated into a website iteration that would be used to showcase their early stage working product to potential investors. The main focus of this project was to create something quickly with a clean, professional and modern look.
Below are examples of the final product and how it will be used across their different mediums.
Logo Concepts & Development Process
Initial concepts started with ‘F’ lettering and then developed using notions of growth through visual metaphors of growth, steps and rising graphs.
This lead me to my final design which married this idea with a clean cut san serif font.

Out 2 Lunch Festival
World renowned DJ/Producer Fisher returned to his hometown to present his very own headline festival ‘Out2Lunch’.
I was tasked to design the initial concept and branding for the festival and help roll out the announce assets including social media posts, event posters and print promo. The files were then packaged and sent to their team to be used in various formats for the full festival branding kit. The final product successfully embodied Fisher's signature style, blending infectious beats with a fun, carefree vibe that had 30,000 attendees dancing from day to night on Coolangatta Beach, Gold Coast.

Musica Copa
Musica Copa’s 5-a-side charity football tournament is a major event in the Australian music industry that combines soccer and philanthropy. Held annually since 2013, it brings together music industry teams to compete in a fun, high-energy tournament while raising money for various charities.
To celebrate the 10th-anniversary I was tasked with creating a special commemorative badge that would be used on a run of custom football jerseys. The badge design was then translated and adapted to create a cohesive event roll-out for marketing and game day assets.
Final delivery of assets included event posters, giant cheques, pennants, scoreboards, fixture tables, grouping tables, ticketing website skins, social media posts and heaps more.
The event concluded with great success, generating more than $62K for charities nationwide.

Tropicana Club Sour
ATOMIC reached out and asked me to design their latest plum infused sour beer the ‘Tropicana Club Sour’. The design brief had influences of Miami beach club and of course plums. Brewed using sustainably sourced fruit the socially conscious beer was made in collaboration with PlateItForward a charity that uses the universal love of food to create positive, sustainable change in the world.

Barney Cools
I was approached by Barney Cools to create two designs for their collections ‘Vinyl Vacation’ & ‘Our Topia’. The brief for both of these designs was very open ended and welcomed my personal flair and aesthetic. The final designs were approved and used for shirts, hoodies and hats.

Sam Alfred DJ Visuals
I was tasked to conceptualise, design and animate Sam Alfred’s show visuals for his Australia wide Suzuka Tour. I had the pleasure to witness them live at his SOLD OUT Sydney show which was such an amazing moment for me. Using different concepts from his release and logo design I created a data mosh and glitch style package of 26 different animations which you can see below. These were then sent over to the VJ who mashed them up on the night on screen.
